Some 200 years ago learning underwent a massive and discontinuous change thanks to one invention-the blackboard. Now an expert could simultaneously broadcast information to a large number of students and learning ceased to be social, learner-focused, and individualistic. The blackboard led to the whiteboard and eventually to Microsoft PowerPoint. For more than 200 years, learning has been going in the wrong direction!
Join Martyn Lewis as he shares the seven keys to rethinking how effective blended training must be designed and delivered, and how the direction that was set 200 years ago can and must be reversed. Although somewhat humorous, the session will move from a compelling vision of what is possible, to a highly pragmatic approach to architecting truly blended learning experiences. It will provide case studies from the work 3GS has done with companies such as Merck and Oracle.
More than simply a discrete session, this program will offer a demonstration of blended learning. After the session there will be a series of live virtual roundtables and collaboration forums that will focus in greater detail on the topics of most interest to you.
